JT WALK AND BEACH PARTY FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the beach party?
JT Walk & Beach Party is a celebration with food, fun and friends. Food provided by Beach Bully BBQ and Qdoba Mexican Fiesta. Live entertainment all day long by your favorite area bands! Treasure Hunt, bounce houses, cotton candy. Only those who register and make qualifying contributions of at least $25 will receive T-shirts and Beach Party tickets.

Where and when do we meet?
Meet at Ocean Beach Club on 34th & Atlantic Avenue on Sunday, October 6th at 9:00am. The JT Walk lineup begins at 10:30 am and the walk begins at Neptune's Park at 11:00am. (All Team Captains are to report to Pi-zerria restaurant for a meeting at 8:30am sharp for instructions for the day)

Where do I park?
Parking is free at the garage at 34th and Pacific. However, parking is extremely limited and you are encouraged to carpool, walk, or ride your bike to the event.

What happens at registration?
At registration, you sign in and pick up your T-shirt and Beach Party tickets. If you did not make your donation on-line, please be prepared to turn in any cash and/or check donations at this time. Only those who have signed in and made a contribution of at least $25 will receive Beach Party tickets.

Who are checks made payable to? Can I pay on the day of the event with a credit card?
Please make all checks payable to THE JT WALK. For your convenience, a limited amount of credit card machines will be available onsite at the Pi-zerria restaurant and at Treasure Hunt registration.

What happens between registration and the start of the walk?
You're invited to a pre-walk reception in front of Ocean Beach Club with entertainment, coffee, pastries, and refreshments. Great time to meet new friends, reconnect with old ones and celebrate the day.

Bringing someone that is not registered to walk? New walker registration will be held at Pi-zzeria at 34th street and Atlantic Avenue from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

Where exactly is the beach party?
The Beach Party starts at 12:00 pm, right after The JT Walk, on the beach at 31st Street in front of the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Remember you must have a ticket to enter the Beach Party area.

What is the Half Way Party?
It's a party at Mahi Mah's, Rockfish and Waterman's Surfside Grille. Please remember to pick up your Half Way Party refreshment tickets at JT's Grommet Island Beach Park & Playground for EveryBODY.

What is King Neptune's Treasure Hunt?
The Treasure Hunt is a way to get your kids (ages 3 - 15) involved. Beat the lines and register your kids online today! Registration will also be available on event day. Look for the Treasure Hunt Registration signs at Ocean Beach Club. Take your kids over to the boardwalk and sign them up to dig for buried treasure. All of the kids will be able to climb mountains filled with thousands of dollars in buried treasure. Treasure can then be taken to Sunsations and cashed in for prizes!
