Frank, or Meatball as he was known to his family and close friends, was kind and
generous to all who knew him. He was one of the first to step up to raise money
and recruit walkers to benefit the JT Walk, even before his own devastating
diagnosis with the disease. After learning he too had ALS, Frank was as
determined as Josh that his own personal tragedy be turned into something
positive to help others. The Friends of Frank team became a huge piece of the
JT Walk in 2010, with a $100,000 sponsorship being awarded in Frank’s honor to
the research organization of his choosing. Sadly, an all too short year later
Frank lost his battle with ALS. He remained committed to the JT Walk and his
family has generously encouraged donations in Frank's memory to continue to
support the JT Walk – Friends of Frank. Just as Frank would have wanted...to
continue to help others as he had his whole life. Josh has personally
requested we have the 4th Annual 2011 JT Walk in Frank's honor....as Josh was
and always will be a Friend of Frank.
