Josh hopes that his friends, family and other Virginia residents will walk this
year, on Sunday, October 4, 2009 to Defeat ALS™ . Money raised by the JT Walk
teams on October 4th will be split, with fifty (50%) percent going to the ALS
Association – DC/MD/VA Chapter to support programs for patients living with ALS
and the Association’s cutting edge research program. The remainder will go
towards funding the development of the Grommet Island Park for EveryBODY at 1st
Street at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The park will offer a state of the art
playground which will provide an endless array of activities for adults and
children with disabilities.
