2012 Goals: 5,000 Walkers - $1.2 Million Walk For The Kids. Walk For JT. Walk To Help Those Who Can't. ALS Research and Patient Services These are our roots. This is what drove thousands to rally behind Josh Thompson and others living with ALS. In those early days, we pledged to help with ALS care. And we promised to contribute to ongoing research into a cure for this horrific and unexplainable disease. Our commitments continue and will forever be a part of our work and our focus. Our support for and partnership with our friends at the ALS Association are as strong as ever. We fully intend to STOMP ALS!
JT's Grommet Island Park Improvements Who could have ever predicted the overwhelming response to JT's Grommet Island Park! Thousands of people have visited the park and taken advantage of its special facilities. Kids who never had access to the beach have enjoyed wiggling their toes in the sand for the first time. And healthy family members have been able to enjoy a day at the beach with a family member with a disability. The park's unexpected heavy use and the normal wear and tear of an oceanfront location require constant upkeep.
