ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) was identified well over a hundred years ago - yet there are no answers, no treatments, no cure. As many people get ALS as get Multiple Sclerosis - but due to the swift terminal progression of ALS - there is not enough research money invested to find a treatment or a cure.
1.5 years ago we were told that our amazing son, Josh, has ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
To be told there is no hope is devastating beyond belief. But a Mother's love believes beyond believing ...and I have to believe that there is an answer - that we can find the answer and find a cure for Josh and for the hundreds of thousands of bright vital ALS patients world wide that are trapped within their paralyzed failing bodies. Time is not our friend - we URGENTLY need an effective treatment or cure.
Friends and family have circled around Josh and have become Josh's warriors in trying to help him win the battle against ALS. Please join Josh's Warriors & a Mother's Love Team in our fight for awareness - our fight for a cure. Please Walk with us on October 19 to help Defeat ALS.

PS: Iplex, an FDA approved drug made by Insmed, Inc in Richmond, VA. has been reported to significantly help ALS patients. Due to a patent settlement agreement, Tercica & Genentech required Insmed to take Iplex off of the market for ALS patients! It is an OUTRAGE and we are desperately fighting to get Iplex for Josh and all ALS patients. This Is How We Get To 1,000 “JT Walk And Beach Party Participants”
- There are 10 J.T. Walk and Beach Party Teams
- Each Team has 10 Team Captains
- Each Team Captain sets a goal for walkers and dollars and that makes up the team goal
- If all Teams and Captains do their job, this walk will set a National Record!

This Is What You Can Do
We do not care if you walk one block or one mile, raise $1 or $1,000, just please sign up on my team and show up for J.T. and ALS on Sunday, October 19th and enjoy the Beach party with J.T.
If you want to raise money for the walk, just ask your friends, family and co-workers to sponsor you for any amount they choose for you to walk.
The Details!
- Free parking in Ocean Beach Club Garage at 34th Street and Pacific Avenue.
- We are going to gather first at Ocean Beach Club for a continental breakfast including Mimosas, etc. at 9:30 a.m. (you will receive a JT Walk t-shirt).
- We will collectively (all 1,000 of us or more) join the ALS Walk that starts at the Hilton/31St Street Neptune’s Park (2 blocks) led by a Dixieland Band where Josh and his family will be getting ready as he is going to walk too.
- The ALS Walk begins at 11:00 a.m., but it important for you to come to Ocean Beach Club first as well all want to show “J.T. the love” all wearing the same t-shirt, etc.
- After the walk, the party starts (approx. noon). Great bands, food and refreshments.
