For 2.5 years we have witnessed our friend, Josh "JT" Thompson grapple and courageously battle a horrifying and debilitating disease --- ALS. His fight has been both eye opening and an incredible inspiration to each one of us. “We” are Josh’s Boys and our team is mostly comprised of his closest adulthood fraternity of friends. One of the strongest components of friendship is having your friend’s back. There is not one of Josh’s Boys that doesn’t stand behind him in full support and brotherhood. Our witness to Josh’s experience has broadened our awareness of the many others who are also suffering with ALS and other non related ALS disabilities. With your help we all can rise up, stand firm and help Josh and the hundreds of thousands of others affected with this disease fight! In walking with us and helping us to raise money, we will also not only help those with ALS, but help others who are disabled to greater enjoy “a day at the beach” by attending the JT Grommet Island. Together, our community has the amazing opportunity to build “Grommet Island” a beach park and playground for everyBODY in Josh’s honor. It is because of our love and devotion to Josh that we are asking for your help and support. Last year Josh’s Boys Team raised the most money and had the largest group of walkers.
