We have known Josh since he was a little boy, watched him surf at the beach, ski and snowboard in Colorado, grow into a polite, funny and charming young adult and develop into a successful business man. Just a few years ago, in May 2006, Edmund, Dare Marie and I attended his wedding to his beautiful wife, Joy, and celebrated soon thereafter with a party at our home with friends and family. Josh and Joy have now been blessed with the birth of two adorable young sons; Wyatt and Jordan. However, during most of his marriage and since the birth of both sons, Josh has been fighting a strong and courageous battle against ALS. Josh’s positive attitude in the face of adversity is a testament to his exceptional character and an inspiration to our family. With your support, we as a community can build The Grommet Island Beach Park and Playground for EveryBODY in Josh’s honor and raise money to help fund continued research to find a cure for this debilitating disease.
